The M.S. and Ph.D. in Intelligent Systems Engineering program is at the forefront of 21st-century engineering, conducting research and developing applications for the small-scale, networked, and mobile technology that is changing the world.
Our students help define how the work here could result in the next generation of personalized health devices, protein engineering, autonomous mobile computing platforms, pollutant-measuring drones, replacements for damaged areas of the brain and more.
Big data and intelligent systems are central to our graduate programs. You can also choose among six tracks:
- Computer engineering
- Cyber-physical systems
- Environmental engineering
- Molecular and nanoscale engineering
Whether you want to teach at a university or conduct research in academia, government, or industry, your first step is to learn more about our program.
Note that we also offer an accelerated master's in intelligent systems engineering to Indiana University undergraduate students.
